Synopsis: The Other Side of Darkness 2022 Nearly 16 years old, foster teenager Taylor Jo only dreams of a vehicle she can call her own and the freedom of the open road. On his 16th birthday, TJ receives a mysterious gift: The key to a storage unit. Inside, he finds a Jeep Wrangler™ registered to his name. Suspecting the gift might be from his biological family, he convinces his friends to join him on the journey, despite massive power outages across the country. Following clues left on vehicles, the gang find themselves in a small West Virginia town, almost cut off from the rest of the world. Discovering the shocking truth, TJ finds himself at the crossroads of a plot to take down America’s power grid. Blocked from any form of emergency contact, the gang is placed between a rock and a hard place. With the help of his friends, TJ must find the strength to face both internal and external obstacles to stop the blackout from spreading before it reaches critical mass. If they failed, more people would be injured and the country could find itself over 100 years ago. The Other Side of Darkness is an action-adventure film that follows a young woman’s journey of self-discovery and finding the strength to overcome even the most challenging obstacles.
