Synopsis: Moloch 2022 where thirty years ago a young girl was hiding in a closet, trying to befriend a little mouse, when there were screams and bangs in the room above her. Something terrible happened upstairs, shaking the roof and wooden walls, and before long dust and blood rained down on the girl. Thirty years later, the young girl is now a grown woman named Betriek (Sallie Harmsen), who still lives in the house where her grandmother was murdered, with her young daughter, and her parents. Despite having been home when his grandmother was murdered, Betriek has had a rather good life in his quiet community, although he sometimes believes himself to be cursed. Her final concern was her mother’s deteriorating health, when she started having seizures and passed out. When a local archaeological dig not far from their home finds something interesting, they hope it will provide a welcome distraction, and Betriek finds herself drawn to the chief scientist, Jonas (Alexandre Willaume). But when the big one begins to dig up more bodies of the woman with her throat slit, strange things start to happen, and Betriek begins to think that something terrible is haunting her family.
