Synopsis: Minions The Rise of Gru 2022 In the heart of the 1970s, amidst a flurry of furry hair and blazing jeans, Gru (Steve Carell) grows up in the suburbs. A fanboy of the supervillain supergroup known as Vicious 6, Gru devises a plan to become evil enough to join them. Fortunately, he has the support of his loyal followers, Minions. Together, Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto – new Minions sport gear and an urgent need for fun – deploy their skills as they and Gru build their first nest, experiment with their first weapon, and undertake their first mission. When Vicious 6 overthrows their leader, the legendary fighter Wild Knuckles (Alan Arkin), interviews Gru to become their newest member. It doesn’t go well (to say the least), and only gets worse after Gru outsmarts them and suddenly finds himself the mortal enemy of the pinnacle of evil.
