Synopsis: Last Seen Alive 2022 Hitting a rough patch in their marriage, businessman Will Spann (Butler) brings his wife Lisa (Jaimie Alexander) to his parents’ house for a short stay. While not reaching the heights of his contemporaries, he has managed to carve himself into a pretty good niche with really fun acts like his Mike Banning trilogy, Den of Thieves and Law Abiding Citizen. Last Seen Alive was no different, if much quieter.

Butler is excellent as the common man Will Spann, who does everything he can to keep his marriage together. Success has come at a price for Will as hours away from his beautiful wife Lisa have ruined their relationship. Butler plays a down-to-earth Will with sufficient vulnerability and manliness. Of course, he turns into an angry beast when the time comes to find his missing lover. Alexander is doing well in a supporting role as his distant wife, although his character’s motivations for leaving his husband seem a bit selfish considering he seems like a great guy who would do anything for her… as we’ll see throughout the action. Russell Hornsby excels in the role of the Detective assigned to the case when Lisa is missing. Skeptical at first, and thinking that Will was behind the kidnapping of his own wife, the Detectives soon reveal the dark side when the truth is revealed, and prove to be a worthy ally for our hero.
