Synopsis: Godspeed 2022 follows Captain Salih, a war veteran with prosthetic limbs, who discovers many things in his daily life prompting deep and clumsy flashbacks to traumatic times he will soon forget. Even a child who played hopscotch carried the PTSD that haunted the soldier. He’s definitely a man on the edge, as the opening scene introduces us to the Captain as he robs a house, steals money and a gun. Karim’s best friend, his supportive lieutenant and friend, are also on the journey, with the two soldiers traveling across the country with the aim of annulling the wedding. Karim Elif’s match was forced into marriage and the marriage had to be terminated. They drive on beautiful Turkish highways in vintage cars, small talk and engage in further robberies, leading to this important showdown.
