Synopsis: Fantastic Beasts The Secrets of Dumbledore 2022 magical creatures who can see into the soul as well as the future — giving birth. Acolytes Gellert Grindelwald, led by Credence Barebone, attacked and killed the mother and kidnapped the newborn. Grindelwald then kills the creature to take advantage of its precognition abilities. However, unbeknownst to them, the Qilin has twins, the younger one being saved by Newt.

Unable to fight Grindelwald due to their blood pact, Albus Dumbledore recruits Newt, his brother Theseus, Ilvermorny Charms teacher Lally Hicks, Senegal-French wizard Yusuf Kama, American No-MajJacob Kowalski and Newt’s assistant Bunty Broadacre to thwart Grindelwald’s plans for world domination. Yusuf Kama was marked to be a spy in Grindelwald’s inner circle while the others were sent to Berlin, Germany. Once there, the group witnessed Grindelwald being cleared of all criminal charges by the International Confederation of Wizards (ICW) and then running for the post of Grand Mugwump. Newt had conveyed Albus’ message to Anton Vogel, the current Supreme Mugwump, to do the right thing, not an easy thing. Anton Vogel told the ICW board that he believed Grindelwald’s arrest could give him more support, but that his defeat in a legitimate election would erode his power. Albus then comments to Newt that Vogel has chosen the easy thing.
