Synopsis: Escape the Field 2022 Sam (Jordan Claire Robbins) is the first person to wake up in a cornfield. She found herself alone and still in her nurse’s uniform from the night before, with no memory or clue of how someone had sneaked into the hospital, drugged her, and brought her out in front of everyone. Escape the Field didn’t care about any of this either. After all, each character wakes up in an empty circular area alone and with one object (anything from a gun to a lighter to a knife and more) supposed to be used for something other than visible intent. He also meets five other strangers (played by Theo Rossi, Shane West, Tahirah Sharif, Elena Juatco, and Julian Feder), all of whom are sketchy, ranging from stubbornly confrontational to extraordinarily morally superior. Every character gets stabbed somehow but continues like nothing happened because there is a nurse in the group. Even characters with a moral compass quickly become obnoxious, arguably more than irrationally short-tempered. Everyone also has some tragic figurative backstory, but the script is so boring with wooden dialogue that there’s nothing attached to them.
