Synopsis: Dead by Midnight 2022 This film is a new horror anthology that carves a new brand of terror with original stories and iconic horror stars. Y2Kill has assembled a team of horror legends for five terrifying segments that are each more deadly than the last. the story of Trevor (Daniel Rashid, Beast Beast, Nobody Sleeps in the Woods Tonight) who learns the hard way he should listen to his mother and clean up his mess. Written by Jacklyn Edney and directed by Anissa Matlock it’s not bad, but nothing special either. “Gutcruncher”, the final segment of Dead by Midnight (Y2Kill) features pro wrestler Logan Creed in the title role as a creature, the Blue Devil whom even Santo doesn’t want to deal with. But thanks to Coach Tanglewood (Tommy Grillo, The Lost Footage, Decalogue), the three weakest people at school must face him in the ring. A hilarious delivery from the gym teacher, wrestling and cheerleader, that ends the story and brings us to the cover. That includes a cameo by Linnea Quigley (New York Ninja, Camp Twilight).
