Synopsis: Daeng Phra Khanong 2022 focuses on the figure of Daeng, Pee Mak and Mae Nak’s son who is in the form of a ghost and now lives alone in the Phra Khanong area. The Little Ghost also spends his days playing with his friends while hiding the fact that he is a ghost. However, problems arise when the village experiences terror from a mysterious little ghost. Daeng has a simple story for a horror-comedy film because it only tells the story of a little ghost who wants to have friends and misses his parents. Those of you who haven’t watched the Pee Mak movie will still be able to understand the legend of Mae Nak because there are explanations and flashback scenes that explain the mythology. Even so, the execution of this simple story is quite messy. With a duration of only 96 minutes, this film is considered too relaxed in building conflict at the beginning of the story. As a result, the conflict resolution seems rushed at the end of the film.
