Synopsis: Cadaver 2022 After being under the radar for some time, Amala Paul returns, not only as an actor, but also as a producer, in Cadaver, a medical thriller that lives and kicks contrary to its name. It’s mostly intense and engaging, giving us the feel of a properly crafted investigative thriller, with the right mood and tone. However, the film becomes predictable halfway through because of its setting, so after a pause, we’re just thrown into flashbacks—except for one clever touch. The film begins with a mysterious man who kidnaps and viciously kills a chief surgeon of a famous hospital in the city. As the case progresses, we are introduced to Badra Thangavel (Amala Paul), a pathologist, who assists the assistant city commissioner, Vishal (Harish Uthaman) in handling the case. In addition, we also witness a prisoner, Vetri (Thrigun) in prison, who has vowed to kill the same surgeon by drawing his portrait on the walls of his cell. When this news leaked, the commissioner and pathologist had no choice but to interrogate Vetri.
