Synopsis: Breath 2022 Lara Winslet is a geologist in the field of volcanology. He was with his work team on the volcano to conduct a survey. At the end of the workday, Lara decided to stay a little longer to finish the exam and she remained alone. Returning, he had an accident, fell in a hole in the ground and remained blocked there, where no one could see or hear him. This experience will lead him to examine his whole life and think about his daughter. Breath is a survival drama thriller, which will attempt to capture the graphic horror of less than 127 hours, where one person needs to find a way to survive in an environment where no one will come and help them. Breath does use a search through the past to provide motivation to keep fighting well, without the need to make new breakthroughs on this side of the film. Breath seems to have one bigger drawback, namely the runtime, which isn’t necessary as long as it’s given, because the story gets stuck dragging through sections, which unnecessarily, never hit the intensity a survival situation could do. There doesn’t seem to be a strong enough pull in this story to make her reach her potential, though Rachel Daigh’s performance was strong.
