Synopsis: Babysitter 2022 opens with a group of men screaming and howling at each other in an MMA match. They annoy the women around them and glance at a few. Cut women’s breasts and buttocks into a more closeup. This sets the tone for the chaotic frenzy that will follow for the next 97 minutes of runtime. Soon after, Cédric (Patrick Hivon) runs into unwanted trouble when he forcibly hugs and kisses a female TV journalist reporting live from the show. This immediately caused an uproar, turning into an uproar throughout Québec and into a national debate over sexism. He is suspended from his job, but his partner (Hubert Proulx) and his brother Jean-Michel (Steve Laplante) have other ideas. Together they forged all sorts of ideas to help evoke Cédric’s image, that he would not only write a letter of apology to the journalist himself, but to list women in the public eye and publish it as a book. The list will include the likes of Beyonce and Kim Kardashian. During this time, Cédric’s wife Nadine (Chokri herself) watches the circus exhausted, nursing their daughter.
